I have a 92 Sedan Deville, with 103K miles on it. About a week ago I replaced the front pads and the passenger side rotor, because the rotor appeared to be seized when I tried to use a clamp to bottom it out. Now the new rotor has seized. I was told by the parts store that it could be my brake line that is causing it to seize. Is this just the parts guy trying to make another sell or could this be the actual problem. Also, there is a clicking noise that comes from the passenger side rear when the breaks are applied. What could that be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean the caliper siezed? If so you definetly have a bad hose. You really ought to do both hoses and calipers if you can swing it. In the back it sounds like a broken return spring maybe, but you can't say for sure 'till you take it apart.

Thanks for the response. I did go ahead and replace the front calipers and hoses. I have not had a chance to look at the rear yet.

you mean the you used a clamp to push the caliper down. If so, good but did you remove some of the brake fluid before doing so?
