Fitted these to my 2005 STS a couple of weeks ago: 235/50ZR17 96W 1565 pounds, 168 mph, 270 km/h, directional tread, for "Exotic Sports Cars" (indeed) fitted on staggered 17" wheels (same size all around). Replaced Goodyear Eagle LS (not a bad tire, not a geat tire). Initial impression: awsome on dry pavement, awsome on wet pavement (light rain, no down pours yet), no snow (middle Tennessee, don't get much and when we do all we get is ice with a little snow on top). It's not a "V", but 325HP in sport mode is plenty for me. Corner traction doesn't take horsepower and these tires will take full throttle off sharp 2nd gear corners. No kidding I can feel the car "stand up" a little like a dragster under WOT while cornering with no understeer. Didn't try to wreck it in the rain, but pushed hard and felt glued to the road (way better than the Goodyears). Standing start crossing an intersection with (almost) WOT and no wheel spin (no traction control needed). Only time I got any slippage in the wet was straight line on new, oily asphalt (slowed down and just enjoyed the ride). They might be just a tick noisy at 80MPH w/radio off, but I don't hear them with the radio on. Think it's the aggressive shoulder tread blocks (for snow traction). Will see what they do after the shoulders wear down a bit and later when the overall tread wears significantly (maybe 20K miles or so). OEM 45K mile prorated warranty, should take me about five years to wear'em out. Paid $225 ea at the stealership (actually fairly competitve price and way more convenient plus discouned alignment and great service at Andrews Cadillac, Brentwood, Tennessee *plug*). Tirerack has'em for $180 ea + shipping + tax + mounting gets close enough to $225. Check out the tires on Tirerack here (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Pilot+Sport+A%2FS+Plus&partnum=35WR7PSAS&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes) and tire group comparison here (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=UHPAS&width=235%2F&ratio=50&diameter=17&tireSearch=true).

I live in south FLA so absolutely no snow, but we get thunderstorms every day for months at a time which really get nasty out of nowhere. A lot of times it goes from clear blue sky to 5 in. of rain in an hour. So in the rain my STS was like a sled in the rain. Until I changed the tires.
I just changed all four tires on my STS. I wanted to go with the PS2 all around but they didn't make them in the staggered rear size, and I didn't want to go with the same size all around just yet. So I ended up putting PS2's on the front and A/S plus's on the rear. My STS had the OEM tires on it that came with it when I bought it.
As soon as I picked the car up from the shop it felt like a totally different car. It was very quiet, very smooth, and just all around felt great. When it rained the other day it didnt rain bad but the tires still felt great. I actually felt confident in the car in the rain for the first time. Before in the rain I could feel the front end coming loose when I went too fast, and I could feel the rear go around turns. Now I feel like I'm stuck to the road.
My conclusion: PS2 and A/S plus === GREAT TIRES

Mine had like sized Goodyear Eagle LS on all four corners when I bought it used w/40k miles. I was an unwitting participant in the experiment for about 10 months. I did my homework after the fact and left everything alone. The car felt sure footed, ran straight, cornered well but was a little slick on wet roads and scary in the rain (worn tread). Just before I had them replaced with the above mentioned Michelins, I checked the rims (two have the word REAR stamped into the wheel under the center cap) and guess where the wide REAR rims were - right side front and back for 10 months! So I don't think that it made any difference having the same tire on all four corners. Would probably have been a big deal if the rims had 255s on the right and 235s on the left! No rubbing either with the REAR rim on the right front at full left lock. Only if I had a V would I demand 255s on the REAR wheels.

Thanks for the review.
Every time I've looked, the 18" 235s are rather expensive, upwards of $200 per tire on TireRack.
This spring, I'm planning on getting a new set of 18" wheels and keep the Blizzaks on the factory set and switch em up every winter. I think I'll go through Discount Tire though. They have more options and better prices than the Rack.
I found a discounted set of 18" wheels (MB -- exclusive brand to Discount Tires) that I think would look pretty neat, and combined with Falken performance tires (rated well) the cost will be roughly $900 with promotions. I wouldn't dream of spending less than $1,200 if going through Tire Rack.
We'll see what I end up doing though :bouncy:
