Seems to me that the location of my Iphone really impacts the quality of the Bluetooth connection...the best I have found so far is on the visor...

Anyone else have this issue and where have you found the best spot to put the Iphone???

Thanks in advance for your help.

Honestly, I have not had any issues with my IP bluetooth connection.

I typically keep it on my passenger seat or cup folder area and have occasionally forgotten to take it off my belt clip (on my left side) and have gotten clear calls.

There might be an issue with your car or your Iphone.

Maybe I need to re-sync it...

That's helpful input...thank you.

I'd try that.

Also note that I have the crappy gen 1 Iphone so there may be some difference between the blue tooth between this and the 3G(s) phones. I say crappy because the bluetooth seems to be the only thing that works on the phone. The phone will lock up if I get a text message while on a call :(

You might also see if you have any power management in your phone setup. This could be reducing signal output from the phone.

I have had no issues with Bluetooth on my iPhone 3GS. It generally resides in my shirt pocket while I'm driving.

I've had no bluetooth connection issues with either the the 3GS either. Most of the time I just leave the phone in my pocket.

Obviously I have "operator head space issues". Many thanks friends...got to go back and redo my sync I guess.

I just had my Blackberry Storm in the center console with the lid down but not latched as I had a car charger plugged in the dash. No problem at all.
