My 04 SRX has not started twice and has no warranty. Both times, the Battery Saver Active is displayed on screen. I recharged the battery and it runs fine afterward. I've checked the battery and it is GOOD. I've checked the alternator and cables, they are GOOD. Booth time it stalled, it was at home. I'm afraid I won't be that lucky next time; especially with the cold months are here in Michigan.
Does anyone know what exactly happens when my cad says "Battery Saver Active"? And should if everything I mentioned above has tested GOOD, then what do you recommend me to check?
I`ve had som issues like that. Replacing the battery was the cure, even though the old battery appeared to be good when I checked it. I can recommend those OEM AC-Delco batteries.

Yep replace the battery, I had the same thing happen to me then it happened at the dealer and the battery tested good but the made it fail ;)
I found the dealer was more money than a Delco battery dealer.
I've had the same thing twice. I replaced the AC Delco battery with a Wal-mart brand (slightly different size) with a 7 year warranty (and almost twice the CCA). It died a year and a half later, so I took it back to Walmart. It tested good, but it died again the next morning so they "made it fail" and gave me a new one free. I think there is something funky with the SRX electrical system and they way it ruins batteries, but they somehow test good.
Ditto. Just had mine replaced under warranty yesterday. Did the same thing, had a "bad cell." I carried a small jump box with me that saved me twice in the last month.
Went to advance auto to get a new one and it was 120 bucks. Decide to wait to see if the dealer would warranty it and they did. I'm very happy with the service by the way of my local dealer. Better than expected. Although my oil change was 90 bucks.
