I bought some Bosch Mag Core plug wires and compared the resistance to my old (working) set of oem AC Delco wires and for some reason the bosch wires have ALL DIFFERENT resistance!!! Is this normal?? For example,

Bosch wire 1 - 470 Ohms approx.
Bosch wire 2 - 1400 Ohms approx.
Bosch wire 3 - 1200 Ohms approx.
Bosch wire 4 - 870 Ohms approx... etc. etc.

Ac Delco wire 1 - 970 Ohms approx.
Ac Delco wire 2 - 975 Ohms approx.
AC Delco wire 3 - 972 Ohms approx. etc. etc. etc.

Should I use the Bosch wires or return them and just use the old working AC Delco's? :hmm:

Wow, this makes me wonder - maybe OEM really is better than so called higher end and higher priced aftermarket... :thepan:

Probably connection issues at the ends.
I always recommend OE parts.
The choice is quite obviously yours.

The Senator in the UK (GM car) was a straight 6 and VERY fast (0-60 7 seconds, 154mph limited speed), had the same issue with there leads.

OEM parts where always better as they all had very different lengths, the aftermarket leads always failed very fast and had the wrong resistance.

Many Thanks
