Hi
Heres the plan..... 2003 ESV then installing a 2005 touchscreen navigation (part number : 15800001) (truck already has Y91 Lux Amp installed), so what CD changer can i use with this AND what wareharness do i need to buy to connect the changer to the truck and it all work with the touch screen.
Also i would like to integrate TVs, did they do DVD changer for the above navigation?
Many Thanks

With this i want to add XM satellite as well, any idea for part numbers for that with the above TNR.
How much are you going to spend on that touch screen from the 05?
With all you plan on doing to your vehicle, it would probably be a lot easier to go all aftermarket. An aftermarket touch screen nav system will be a lot easier to add extra screens and XM satellite to. I have an 04 ESV, and I got rid of the factory nav, and now have an aftermarket touchscreen nav system with an additional monitor.

Hi, i am aware an aftermarket would be easier (maybe better) but i prefer the OEM for this one, i would think $1500 all in with cables and time.
They didn't come with a factory DVD changer, just CD changer. Not trying to change your mind, but no matter what additional cables and such you get, you're still going to be rather limited in what you can accomplish if you're using the stock head unit from an 05. Also, if you're wanting a DVD changer, an even better option may be to get an aftermarket (I know, I know - you said you wanted to go OEM) with USB and/or SD card inputs, and then you could load those up with movies.
I haven't even spent 1500 yet on mine, and I have touchscreen nav that can be programmed without the vehicle being in park, USB input, SD card input (those can be my 'changers') an added drop down screen for the rear, DVD player, and integrated steering wheel controls.

Funny you should mention this, i am still in 2 minds to be honest... I was looking at the Pioneer AVIC-X910BT with there own 1DIN 6 CD/DVD changer XDV-P6 in the 1DIN slot in the front.
This would work well with Visualogic A1250 screens in the rear,
I would need to see the X910BT working (and how it fitted) first, then how there own DVD changer works (it has a remote if i remember).
I would also need to see the OEM TNR working as well before i make a final decision, unless one came up cheap second hand which would force my hand slighty.
I know Pioneer make a nice larger screen unit AVIC-Z110BT but it has motors in it to move which i'm not a full fan off, prefer the install with no fancy moving parts like the screens that flip around. That said it is a 7inch screen which might be better and a cleaner install.
