View Full Version : Incentives on 09's corvette00 10-14-09, 08:48 AM Does anyone have any idea if there is going to be some better incentives coming soon on the remaining 09 Escalades? It sounds like you are better off getting an 09 than the 10 model due to the loss of some equipment. I was thinking of tagging a pep vehicle, however I want a black one without carwash sctraches. Gigantor 10-14-09, 12:13 PM Black will always have scratches whether you hand wash it or carwash it
. . .its the nature of the beast The rain sense wipers delete for 2010 sucks, but I ordered one anyway, want that Ipod connection, and been really pleased with the 09' and really all of my Escalade's. You can get 0% and great deals right now, but things are not selling so I think these deals will be here a while, and into 2010 for sure. The problem with buying a black truck that has sat on the dealer lot is it will have scratches and swirls from them cleaning it, and not letting the dealership prep the truck is a great idea, I have not let the dealer prep my cars since the 80's, I am old. :( corvette00 10-14-09, 08:25 PM I agree with your comments about the prep guys, I always make sure my vehicle is clean when it goes to the dealer and remind them not to wash it. It amazes me that a Cadillac dealer would actually use the long brushes on car. I am very pleased with Zaino on my black STS. I may tag the 09 Escalade to see what happens. I think the pep III will be about 9k less than GMS JohnH4260 10-14-09, 11:20 PM Does anyone have any idea if there is going to be some better incentives coming soon on the remaining 09 Escalades? GM has following discounts on 2009 Escalade:
$6,000 Military Discount (Active Duty or Active Reserve)... Plus
$6,000 Discount -OR- 0% Financing for up to 72 months (one or the other, but not both)
So up to $12,000 discount if you qualify. Maybe more if you can negotiate a better deal. CTS-V-TWIN 10-15-09, 09:08 PM What else besides Rainsense is deleted from the 2010 Escalades?
Looks like GM is taking Rainsense off of all their 2010 vehicles.
Rainsense really wasn't that great of a feature anyway. I would rather use the time delay wiper system instead.

No it's still on most of their cars/trucks like the new cheaper SRX, it's even on the new ford taurus, the best option if you drive in a lot of rain or snow, I think the 2010 changes are on the top under the sticky posts. My dealer tells me tonight that if you're coming out of a GMAC lease and want to go into a purchase (2009 model), it's 10K off the sticker (or negotiated price) and 0% for 72 months. They also offer a "pull ahead" on your lease where they will take it back up to 2 months early if you go into another new Cad (maybe even any new GM vehicle) awaterworld 10-21-09, 07:03 PM The current Escalade already has the best Ipod connector, its the RCA jacks, and you can also play Ipod Videos and movies with it. So who needs USB,, when you look at what they removed, and replaced leather with vyinly,, you are better off taking a better deal on a much better equipped 2009,, for less money, that looks exactly like the 2010

I agree about the a/v jacks being (almost) as good as USB but was disappointed to find out that unless you have the rear seat entertainment system (ie: rear drop down screen) you cant play iPod videos. I always thought video worked on the nav display when the vehicle wasn't in motion.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong????:hmm: JohnH4260 10-22-09, 02:44 PM My dealer tells me tonight that if you're coming out of a GMAC lease and want to go into a purchase (2009 model), it's 10K off the sticker (or negotiated price) and 0% for 72 months. Just found out if you're a USAA member, can get an additional $750 off purchase price of 2009 or 2010. Check link below.

What if you don't have the RCA jacks?
My Silverado has AUX input, but the Cadillac doesn't. Who thought that? :bomb: | |
