i'm putting some aftermarket rims on an 06 srx. i need to get the proper offset for the wheels. probably going with a 9.5" width rim. so i need the correct offset so the wheels sit flush with the car. i don't want them sticking out.

if anyone can help that would be great! also some pics would be great to.

You might contact Tire Rack. They should be able to provide the information you need as well as the aftermarket wheels and tires that are optimum for your SRX.

I think you might want to go with 8.5 width not 9.5 to keep inside wheel well and avoid rubbing issues. I have 20" Z15 Zinik's on my AWD 07 with 255x50x20's on all four and love the look, ride and fit. The correct fitment is this:

Offset: 40mm
Backspacing: 6.38"
Bolt Pattern: 6-115

I believe this is the same offset as the OEM 20" sport package.
Zinik will custom drill any of their wheels for our bolt pattern without any additional cost, at lease that what they did two years ago when I bought mine. www.zinikwheels.com I got mine from a local tire dealer friend but they are also avialable through Tirerack.
