The Wrench

Guys, I thought I had posted on the front-end clunking fix; but couldn't find it in the archives.
Anyway, I posted several times last year about my new '08 sounding like the battery or the front wheel was going to fall out over rough roads or railroad tracks. A pretty heavy clunking sound and feel.
Well, I finally took it to the dealer, and asked them to check out the clunk.
They said the brake caliper pins were not sufficiently lubricated, allowing the calipers to click/clunk around when hitting bumps.
I was pretty skeptical, but I can report that after several months, it is definitely fixed! I rotated the tires last week, and sure enough, the caliper pins had been thoroughly greased.
Hope this helps anyone experiencing a similar problem.
