All other lights are working in the truck its just the 2 under the mirrors that aren't working. I'm looking for anyone that may have had this problem in the past thanks.

I just checked to see if my "puddle lights" work...they DO NOT. I have a aftermarket alarm (Viper 2 way paging). Do you have an aftermart alarm as well?

I do not have an aftermarket security system installed but i've checked they obvious things on my SUV fuses and what not but cant find anything. Its got me puzzled and dont want to spend to much money taking it to a dealer for something so simple or so it would seem.

I'm putting my lade in the shop this week for a few other small issues. I'l have caddy check it out and let me know what the problem is. I'll let you know what they say/do to fix the problem.

It does have to be dark enough to get them to turn on, not sure if there is a DIC setting for just those lights

Got it figured out come to find out they only come on when i use my remote to unlock does this sound right to anyone else. I thought they worked along with the door and interior light too. My remotes stopped working so i went and bought the newer style ones and thats when i figured all this out.

Funny, after reading the orig. post yesterday, it got me thinking about mine . I came up with the exact same conclusion as you. Puddle lights go on when unlock on fobs is pressed.
