A few folks got them a while back here. Posts were negative in general. A forum search, maybe for "new fobs" around early 2008 should yield results. Biggest complaint was the enormous size.

I had installed last month. The only advantage is that you can check if the vehicle was started remotely. You can see a count down timer on the lcd screen. The other functions are completely useless. Tire pressures, fuel level, door lock status and yes its huge. Now swapped to the original fob.

Could anyone take a picture of them side by side and post them to this thread? Thanks.

If you do a thread search, a side by side photo was posted.

Waste of money and time...range increase is marginal

thanks I was just trying to see if there were a few more details...

It's pretty basic..does not give you programming options for times start or temp start, has a fixed run time of ten minutes with the same restart times as stock, shows fuel level, tire pressure issues, motor temp..etc
A Titan starter would be a much better buy.

I think post 3 covers the gimicky options. Would be fun, maybe, if it were not so big.

Gotta say thanks for all the replies and the pic. , I would like it if the increase in range was dramatic . I had a two way by Compustar on my Suburban , the remote alerted me to my truck being hit ,while I was on the 10th floor of a building only to watch the guy drive away !!:annoyed: Knowing the truck starts without going to see if it started might be worth it in the winter when I would use it the most . Wanna sell yours Murphy ? Hattat ?:D

I had a Compustar too...thought it was good ! The locals are flogging a device associated with the Titan starter that uses text messaging on a cell phone..maybe that's what you need :)
