I've poked around this forum to see what, if anything others have done to their 94-96 systems. I'm trying to avoid info related to the 96 since it used a different deck than 94-95.

I hear the 5.25's in the front can be replaced with 6.5's. How can this be achieved? I'm thinking since there's holes in the wood already there for the 5.25 opening methinks all you would need to do is drill more for the 6.5's. Needless to say I'd rather use pods, but I can't get my hands on any.

Also, I can hear a tweeter in there somewhere. Is it attached to the 5.25 somehow or is it separate? I'd love to keep the tweeters for all the high notes believe me.

Lastly, the deck itself. According to sounddomain.com I have to modify the bracket to make a DIN deck fit? Or is this misleading?

Thanks again!

to get a new deck to fit flush with the hole in your dash, your probly going to need some sort of installation kit. i know walmart carries them.

i HIGHLY recommend using crutchfield.com (http://www.crutchfield.com) you may think they are a little pricey at first, but over $200 shipping is free, you get all the wiring harnesses/adapters/installation kits...and for my first install on my l incoln i got free PICTURE instructions. the help line is also exceptionally helpful.
trust me, you cant beat them.
