I am new to this forum. I am looking at purchasing a Allante. I have settled on a 90.5 to 92. I have seen several that appear to be very nice except for the significant wear on the drivers side, left back side bolster. I have seen one where there was an area the size of a pack of cigarettes that had the leather worn off. Are there places that sell leather that matches the stock leather or are here places that make exact replacement leather seating areas? Thanks.

You can go to a reputable reupholster and have them order OEM leather, or go the Leather Kit route and just replace them all together.

I bought the outside top bolster from Dick Hussey at Allantesource. Think it was 70-75 dollars. Instructions were excellent. Definetly recommend taking the seat out and making the change on a work bench. Make sure you have a container to collect all the springs and attachment tabs as they need to be reused.

Hi Mark...I have a true driver so my goal when I bought it was to make improvements without dropping a lot of money into it. I had a very bad spot on my 88 drivers seat. My wife, who is handy with a sewing machine, replaced the panel with a piece of vinyl that matches very well. It improved the appearance 100%. Hope you enjoy the site
