| View Full Version : vinyl repair hog1340 10-03-09, 07:26 AM I have a 1' split on the corner of the armrest in my '97 SLS. It is right were you grab to close the door form the driver side. The rip is right on the outer edge. Does anyone of a good glue that I could use to fix this seam? 1964CoupeDeville 10-03-09, 02:57 PM Glue doesn't really work for vinyl. Attached is the picture of the split it is only an inch or so, and since it appears to be part of the entire door panel I really don't want to replace. I just don't wnat it to get any worse. Followed the directions about cleaning and applying the glue. It seems to be holding, we will see how well it holds up. Planedr 10-21-09, 09:37 PM Where did you get the glue?
