Hello Friends.

I posted something a few months ago on here that talked about changing my carrier from a 2.73 to a 3.42. I have a 2006 Northstar 1SE

After spending the last 3 month researching, here is what I came up with.

I am going to swap my 5 speed 2006 trans for a 6 speed trans. I am going to swap my 2.73 carrier for a 3.42 carrier.

Since the ECM is locked, I am going to try to repin a 2007 STS ECM, which you can use tuners with.

Any advice or suggestions? I have sourced the trans and carrier - all I need now is some info on repining my ECM and swaping it with a 2007 ECM.

P.S. Don't move this to the STS forum - I've already talked to people there.
