That's a good price and a nice set of headers. I know on the C5 Corvettes, a pair of high flow cats costs over $800 alone.

Often when people offer free shipping it is only to the lower 48. Hawaii (96707) is not always included.

Do you have to get a custom tune after the installation of this long tube kit? I plan on using the stock mufflers since I don't want the car to get any louder. Would it be a waste to get this without a custom tune? Are there any performance gains with just long tubes and high flow cats without a custom tune?

Gains without a custom tune will be around 30hp. With a custom tune, you will see gains closer to 40hp. The Headers sound great when combined with the stock mufflers.

Any dyno numbers or sound clips?

Will the headers throw a code or do you need to tune it for headers and delete the sensors in the tune. Also, what affect on AF will just the headers without a tune cause?

Also will it it bolt up fine to the rest of the car if stock or is an x pipe or something like that required.

the reason I ask is right now I have Lingenfelter pulley upgrade with their tune and modified airbox. A set of corsa sport exhaust is on the way.

What other mods would be required for these parts to bolt up and A/F be proper. Excuse the ignorance.

Anyone have this system installed on their V?

I had them installed on my V.

The sound is perfect, but they throw a lean code and my car runs really rich.

I got in touch with AR and did not get a lot of help other than I was told I needed a custom tune.

I understand that some products have teething problems, I just wish AR had not made them my problem.

Due to the changes in your Volumetric Efficentcy, you will want to have the vehicle dyno tuned after doing Headers. The Cataylic Converters will throw a CEL and need to be adjusted within the tune.

No other mods are required to install and bolt these up properly. We have done installations with the Factory Exhaust as well as Corsa Exhausts.

Are you guys reusing the factory header bolts or are you installing the ARP header studs?

AR Headers come with new bolts or you can reuse the factory bolts. Factory bolts are track tested to 185mph :)
