Hello,
Sorry if this in the wrong forums, brand new here and there are a TON of different forums.
So ok, I don't have a cad. i've got an aurora 96 with the 4.0.
These are my symptoms, randomly it would run terrible, to the point where it won't accelerate at all. Some days it won't start others it will. It ran perfect for a week then all of a sudden it stopped. Now it won't even start.
Codes when it was running bad but still running was a "random cylinder misfire"
Now that it won't start at all or run its pulling a P0103 MAF, but i know it should run without the MAF plugged in however it doesn't. So I don't think thats really the problem.
I checked for spark and its there.
I put a test light on an injector harness. It has constant power to one of the leads. No matter if im cranking or not. The other lead nothing. The two leads together nothing again.
I sprayed some starting fluid in the TB and it fired but quickly stopped. So its not getting fuel.
Is this a cam sensor issue?
It has 45psi new filter and pump and when it ran unplugging the regulator from vacuum would effect the pressure so that seems fine as well.
New plugs wires and known good coils form an alero.
I hope somebody can help, I'm tired of driving my tank...er 91 3/4 ton diesel.
Ryan
