I had it added through my contacts at GM. It delayed my build about 2 weeks, but was worth the wait....now if they would have added
the Trac Pac for me..............

It does break up all the black, glad I have it!

Can you post a rear end pic of the 2010 V?

My 09 has the wood trim. Are they not suppose to? I didnt ask for it. It came that way due to other configurations that I wanted.

It was an option available late in the 09 model, that was scheduled for introduction in the 10's. I was not aware that it was required with
other configurations. I asked for it, but had to give up the suede feel steering wheel to get the wood????

What other options did you ask for?

I haven't seen the wood trim in person but I was told that it looks darker than it appears in pictures. I'm going to take more pictures tomorrow, and hopefully have some dyno videos / graphs in 2 - 3 weeks.

The camera flash lightens it up. It is very dark, almost black so it is kinda subtle, not in your face wood grain.

Me likey the wood trim - definitely going to order mine with that. I wonder how it looks on the light titanium interior? Anyone have pics of the wood with that color interior?

I wish they offered a 2-tone titanium/ebony interior color choice, like they have with the cashmere, but available on the Recaros too. That color combo with the wood trim would be perfect to me. I guess I'll have to settle with all ebony with the Recaros, and forgo the suede wheel and shifter for the wood.

Might be a dumb question but what is the difference between an 09 and a 10 other than the wood trim and model year?

Badges on the trunk are flipped and the suede material on the door panels is now perforated to match the seats.

Navigation feature, which used to be an option, is now standard equipment raising the bare bones MSRP about $ 2,145 or so.

Bah! :nono: Sacrilege!
An unnecessary change in the V's admittedly short history of placing the V badge
on the lower left corner of the rear deck lid on ALL previous V models.

What can I say.... I'm a traditionalist

It does make sense being that in the English written language, we read from left to right, so they should have always had the model on the left and the "V" on the right.

I don't really care about that part, but there was really no reason for them to change it after all this time.

Posted in the sticky picture thread. I think the wood is absolutely beautiful and goes great with the light titanium, but that's just my opinion.
