Are there any rules to the owning a non-GM vehicle? Both of my current vehicles are GM's, and it seems silly that a loyal GM owner should be penalized. Like shouldn't it be the other way around? I guess my question is if I buy and register a POS used Toyota for $300 just so I can prove I have a non-GM vehicle to get the GMS pricing on a new V, will that work? Is there a minimum ownership time for the non-GM vehicle to qualify? Like the cash for clunkers required you to own your clunker for at least 1 year. Wondering if there are similar restrictions on the GMS deal.

Just wondering if I should bother with all this. I'm really kind of pissed that GM is only offering this for non-GM owners.

Also, are these 2010's you have? And what's with all the automatics? Lazy people.

How much is the GMS discount anyway? Is it $1k? $2k? Approximately.

Saves about 6K off MSRP...

As long as you have a registered non GM vehicle in your name it would be good.
