Hello all! I'm sorry if this has been asked before; I did a search and was unable to find anything. I might have done the search wrong. Anyways, I've got a 2000 Deville, and I've got a set of 22" rims with 245/30/22 tires on there. It's rubbing big time, but my friend has the SAME car with a 255 which is a taller/wider tire and he's got rims with the same offset, and he's not rubbing at all.

Is there a way to lift the car up? The air suspension is trying to drop the living daylights out of it, and I'm not sure how to either lock it up high or disable it, though I heard disabling it will flatten it out. Also, can I put those spring spacers in it?

Tire manufacturers tend to vary actual(footprint) size. The sidewall numbers are all correct for the inner ring of tire that meets the rim, however the actual footprint the tire leaves varies. Google search stretched(don't recommend) but you'll get the idea of the variants. I have 22"x9" 245-30-22 and do not rub. Consider looking at tires at a physical tire shop before purchasing. I bought cheap China-made tires from Fullrun recommended by the fellas at Tire and Wheel Connection(reputable wheel/tire retailer).
