I took my 2004 Cadillac SRX into the dealer Friday 9/18/09 because all the interior courtesy lights are not working. He said he replaced a fuse but the fuse blew out and he thinks there is a short someplace in the electrical wires. He hasn't found it yet but is looking at the roof wiring next. Has anyone else had this problem and how was it corrected?

Hi there. I have the same problem with the 10amp Interior Light Fuse blowing out.

I was thinking of just putting a 15 amp fuse in there to see if it blows again but I don't want to cause any damage by doing so. I have had an autobody shop take a look after the car was rear-ended buy they say they could not find the short. The car was hit in the back slightly bending the liftgate and detroying the bumper and all 4 sensors were replaced. The shop doesn't think the problem is related.

ANY HELP HERE? Has anyone else had a problem with the interior light fuse blowing out?
