Just bought an 06 SRX and dealer had turned the rotors, about a week later I noticed little rust spots on all four fenders and the rear tailgate. I was wondering if any of you driving white SRX's have experienced this too even if you have not had the rotor's turned. I'm afraid that this will lead to premature rusting or embed into the paint. I had it returned to the dealer who buffed it out but 2 weeks later it is back.

Do a search for rail rust or rail dust on the 07+ Lade forum. I had this on my white 06 SRX and silver 07 Lade. What you are experiencing is essentially the same thing, from your brakes. Lots of ways to remove the contaminent outlined in the thread , mine is the best. ;)
