I like it! I'm planning on doing the same to by black STS. Need to go back and read your write up... Any pointers on the R&R of the grille? 306stang 09-17-09, 07:24 PM looks good man!! i'm actually getting mine painted right now and now that i see that it makes me want to call them up to go that route!!! Joe Pagano 09-17-09, 08:30 PM GA how did you import the pics? THANKS. Yea, I saw a few here on the forum, but wow, in person it really pops. Especially the emblem. Nice custom look for just a few bucks. Having the spare grille was a nice move, no rush, was able to let all paint dry overnight and do the fixins on the kitchen table, of course my wife was giving me the look, no need to explain that - right? Anyhow, the step by step process is in the "Joe's Rides" album. And one more tidbit, wear long sleeves when doing the install and removal, my right arm looks like I had a run in with a pissed off cat. Ah, the things we suffer for our rides............................................. .. 306stang 09-17-09, 08:53 PM photobucket usually works sts4ga 09-17-09, 09:25 PM To post pics just put the picture url in between an and a and it'll magically appear! I just went to the album pics and right clicked on "properties" and got the url there. Maybe that made sense? Just wondering what the grill cost you. I've been sort-of looking for one. PM me if you want. Looks GREAT :bouncy: GM should have done that at the factory. I think it looks 100 times better than the chrome mesh deals :duck: Joe Pagano 09-17-09, 11:13 PM No, I did not understand the pic thing, maybe I will fool around with it. Also have no clue about a PM, I assume it's private message. Send me your email and I will give you the scoop on the grille, I will gladly send it to you for even Steven. Plus I will leave the emblem, I did not want to risk taking the old one off so I grabbed a new one off of EBay ($40). This may be the way to go, just exchange the grille between forum members, like a rental.................. Joe Joe Pagano 09-17-09, 11:17 PM Oh, also, on my grille I had put the chrome molding on the louvers just for giggles while I was waiting, just need to pull them off and clean up the surface, which you need to do anyway............ bbshriver 09-18-09, 10:13 AM What is the chrome molding and where did you get it? Joe Pagano 09-18-09, 10:49 AM "Brighttrim.com", 1/4 inch chrome trim in 20 ft strips, about $26. They use the 3M backing and I used 4 pieces for the leading edge of the two louvers, 1 piece on each louver from emblem to edge. Use scissor to cut them to size and cut angles to match the shape of the wreath and that outer chrome OEM trim. sts4ga 09-18-09, 06:05 PM Hey Joe, check your private messages!
