Hi Everyone,

I bought a 2000 SLS with a aftermarket H/U. The seller told me the original system was a BOSE system but H/U died. My Question is if I decide to replace the H/U with a BOSE H/U what will I need to determine was changed and where in the car are these items. Ex amp, speakers

P.S. owner was full of lies on everything else so I do not trust him enough to ask what was none.

Well hopefully he just replaced the H/U and nothing else. Pull the H/U and see if any wires are cut.

In the trunk fuse block look for a fuse called AMP. If is there then you have BOSE (sure hope no wires were butchered).
