Hi all,
My name is John Stoll from The Wall Street Journal. I cover GM for the paper and am doing a story on leasing and Cadillac's current leasing offers, or lack of leasing offers. I'm talking to a lot of people and dealers who say the deals just aren't competetive with other luxury brands. Has anyone tried to lease a Caddy in the last month since GMAC and US Bank really ramped up the leasing programs for CTS?

Hello John,

An Internet forum is probably not the most unbiased place to find the stories you're looking for. The majority of people who find their way here do so because of a question, problem or concern that they're having, or to talk about modifying a car they own. Previous attempts by other people to gather reliability and satisfaction data from Internet car forums have produced results skewed more to the negative than similar studies from Consumer Guide, JD Power or Consumer Reports.

This is not to imply that everyone here is unhappy, only that my experience shows that the majority of "average" car owners never contribute heavily to these type forums, and that your data pool here is comprised of the vocal minority.
