WOW... Just WOW.....
Day started crappy....Rain...Rain and more Rain... but we took that as a challenge...
Lots of cars...but only 2 were American...sad really my V and a Vette. Everything else was Miata, Mini's, 997/911 GT3 RS etc, S2000's, Lotus Exige, 350/370Z... an NSX and a GT-R
Since the lack of American I took it upon my self to pass as many of them as possible... mwahahaha
V is amazing!!!! The instructor I had was a Z06 driver and was impressed with the car. Never had diff temp issues, did a fluid swap recently, tires were grippy. Stated the day @33 and at track end session 48-50. Never ate the dirt but was close on a corner that a 350 and a S2000 ate. The V just responds very well to corrective inputs.
So what did I learn....
1) Brake sternly, but in a straight line.
2) Turn in purposefully, no lolly gagging slow inputs
3) The line is almost always later than you think
4) Power on gracefully, especially in the V
5) Look after the turn
6) If you think you are too fast in a turn.... you probably are.
My opinion, the Magride in sport "feels" better but the shifting of weight to load the suspension is more pronounced in touring,
If you have an auto.... shifter to the right.. always!!!
Full tank of gas.... always
So much fun......:cloud9:
