Greetings,
I learned of this yesterday on the corvette forum, and since there are so many Houston folks on this forum, I figured you may have some interest as well.

Looks like a Cars and Coffee event happens 1st Saturday of each month in the 610/Post Oak area

The web site is http://www.coffeeandcarshouston.com/

A corvette forum thread with pictures from the September event is at
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-corvette-general-discussion/2418537-houston-coffee-and-cars-sat-9-5-09-pics.html

and a fellow vette owner is organizing a caravan from the Pearland side of town at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/southwest/2422791-pearland-meet-up-to-cars-and-coffee.html

Did anyone attend this today?

I went in an old vette. Saw 1 CTS-V, black/black stock interior, auto, and I think black-chrome wheels.

It was a pretty neat event.

was there! friend of mine brought out CTS-V about 530 to the wheels...took a ride and man it made my choice clear vs e55 or V2...damn that thing was fast.

stopped by the caddi dealer on the way home to see what was in stock...one 1 09 V left. hopefully i can pick it up before someone else does...

Aww I wish I would have known about this although all I have is a regular CTS and not a V :(

Is this why there was a Ferrari FXX in front of the Oceonaire on Saturday at like 10am?

Then come out the first Saturday of November

I don't know, I'm not familiar with that name. There was a red F40 and a new red F430(?) at the event. I left before 10 am.

The FXX is a non-street legal successor to the Enzo.
Here is a picture for your consideration

Ah, I thought you were using "FXX" as if you know it was an "F" model but weren't sure what F number the car was. I wasn't aware of the FXX.

No I definitely did not see that at the show.

It sure is, the only time I have ever seen it in person was at the Ferrari dealership at the Wynn Hotel's Ferrari dealership in Las Vegas. A friend of mine saw the FXX at the Galleria and took pics.

The one thing I keep asking myself is how could it have possibly gotten up those ramps to get in front of Oceanaire/Del Frisco/Gigi's valet area :hmm: ......
