: Haze on Mirrors

This has been the only car I've owned that after a week or so, the outside mirrors get this bluish haze on them. Not too sure what it is. Since my other cars don't have this problem and are parked and driven in the same places, I assume it's either some chemical or film on the mirror that doesn't go away when I wash the car, or the aerodynamics of the car itself is bringing exhaust or engine gases up into the area where they are deposited on the mirror.

Anyone else have this problem? Weird, I know...

Not me, but from the looks of that mirror, that would concern me too.

No problem here. Try cleaning it real..real good with a super glass cleaner and then apply Rain X. I use it on my headlight covers, fog lamp covers, windshield and outside rear view mirrors.

Are you sure someone isn't messing with your car? I have never seen something like that before.

Interesting that all of those shapes have the same "face" in them.

Haunted car? :)

Hope you find out what's causing this :wtf:

Mine is not that bad but I do get a weird film/fog issue on the driver side mirror only. I will clean really well and see if it persists. I have only washed the car twice as I just acquired it
