I have a 2006 V6 AWD SRX that I just rolled the odometer over 100k miles. I have had the oil consumption issue as talked about on this forum. I was on vacation over labor day weekend, and when I got home, The SRX wouldn't start. It had been sitting Friday to Monday. I tried to jump it, to no avail. I called my roadside assistance people and had it towed to the shop of my choice. The shop calls me and tells me that the towing guy had hooked onto the tie rod ends instead of the control arms.... Great!

Any ideas on the no starting thing. Fuel pressure was fine per shop...

The mechanic is telling me now that only 2 of the 6 cylinders have enough compression to fire. What the heck happened. I was gone for 3 days and the car had been running.
