On the new CTS's with the polished alum. wheels....is there a alum. cleaner that will get them brighter? I use to use alum. / stainless cleaner on my semi wheels and stainless steel to get them brighter ( chrome like). Was thinking of doing the same.

They're polished to a specific design finish and then clearcoated. Remove the clearcoat at your own risk.

That's what I was wondering. Didn't want to screw them up. I know Alcoa has a Durashine type aluminum wheel....wasn't sure if Cadillac was on the same theory.

Thanks!

You want to treat clear coated wheels like the paint on your car, you can clay them if they are real dirty, and then "wax" them to keep or get them to shine.

yeah x10 on all of the above

if you don't like the finish you can strip off the clear, polish to your desired finish, and recoat them
