Not trying to advertise it or anything like that and its not my car nor do I know the owner. Just wanted to show how nice this thing is to all you Allante fans in here. I found this on my local craigslist.....

Sorry, nothing special looking about that car. The interior and engine compartment both look dingy. The exterior may have some shine, but the picture quality is so bad I don't know what it's hiding. The color doesn't look right - maybe lighting, the camera, or a bad repaint. Also, I'm suspicious of any car shown with the hardtop on because the convertible top is often trashed.

If you go to the link they list within the link I posted they give about 20 detailed pics. Looked nice to me, but then again I dont know anything about Allantes. It seems these Allantes are collectors cars so I assume you all have higher standards than me.....

Those wheels and that shade of red makes it look Ferrariesque.

I agree with you 100%, it just looks off!

Is that aftermarket paint or was it a factory option that year?

For 1989, they had Medium Garnet Red Metallic...Medium Rosewood Metallic...Brilliant Red...Spectra Red...and a Dark Red Metallic. I've beem detailing cars for over 40 years and the paint that on that car is either not a Cadillac color, or it's the worst case of lighting I've seen in a very long time! :suspect:
