Hello all,
I was fortunate to buy a very nice 1965 Fleetwood Brougham recently from the ORIGINAL owner. It has the original medium gray paint (don't know the specific color yet) in very good but slightly dull condition. Can anyone tell me if it's acrylic lacquer or acrylic enamel? I'd like to try turtle wax color back (which says it's for enamel only), or some other polish / wax appropriatate for the type of finish. I also need to know the type of finish because I may want to have one door with a surface scratch (but no sheet metal damage) repainted. Naturally, I want to bring the rest of the car's color back before I try to colro match it. Thanks!
