Recently went to local AZ to inquire about Spark Plug Wires.
Bosch wires 53.99 and they are 7mm
Duralast are cheaper and are also 7mm. Both have lifetime warranty
QUESTION: Are 7mm OEM? Remember recently reading about 8mm, 8.5mm and 10mm wires.
Any input would be appreciated.
What have you guys used? Happy with choice???

are the plugs from the dealership already gapped correctly?

I would doubt gap to be correct on OEM plugs from the stealership! The gap will vary per application, and it's never the same from one new plug to another one. I purchased elcheapo wires for my 6.0, the measured resistance was 10-15% higher than the AC delco wires that I was replacing???? Yeah they are warrantied for life, but I would go for a little more quality next time.

It could be your Alternator that is winning in your radio ?

You may have power and signal too close to each other behind the radio, that will cause some whine. Not to say that it could not ne the plug wires, but I would say less likely. Are you using an aftermarket amp, or OE intergration?

I have a pioneer AVIC D3 Navi DVD unit installed. The GMOS 04 interface had something to do with causing the sound. i have a ground loop isolator installed and it quieted it down enough. at this point, it doesn't even bother me so im not really worried about it anymore. the 8.5mm wires didn't really make a difference, but they were cheaper then the 53$ bosch from auto zone which i returned. so im good to go at this point.
