ok sunday i got my tires rotated from the front to the back, these are brand new tires only had them for 8 months now,had to rotate them sooner or later, so now when i press on the brake to stop the front end feels like it's about to fall apart,or the rotors are really warped.but these are brand new rotors(4 months old)and i have never had a problem with them with the original setup of the tires. what the heck is going on?it's really pissing me off.

quick answer: Only thing i can think of is that the tires need to be spin balanced, maybe check the alignment, rotation should be in an 'X' shape.

ok i went back and they try some more balancing and it actually made it worse when i went on the highway,it's weird and even the manager can't figure it out so now they want to try some other stuff, should i just go somewhere else and have them pay for a balance?i saw the post about some balancing machine that is supposed to be the best one out there and i have in the area about 50 places that have it. i think i might give that a try.

Maybe some yo-yo slammed the nuts down too hard and unevenly. That can warp the hell out of rotors on a FWD car. They aren't like the old cars.

yeah i went back today and they turned the tire 180 degrees from the original position and balanced them again and they are perfectly fine now,i don't really know why it's happened but i'm happy now that my car doesn't feel like crap when braking.

Maybe the rotors are out of balance or something too and both of them together make it really noticable? I've never had a problem with how wheels are balanced.

well that didn't last long at all i've been driving it around since then and it came back again,45,55,65,75 all felt like crap again but i hit 90 the other day and hit the brakes and it was unbelievably smooth, what the hell is going on?
