just got a 1985 fleetwood. wipers worked and didnt work. ok i have a 1984 sitting for parts. took out wiper swithch installed did not work.ok now i change the wiper motor still does not work. when you push to mist it does click. and they also went up a bout 1/4 of the way and stopped ,that was it. and these worked perfect on the 84. now what,wires? thanks for any help.

I've had the same freakshow with my cars too,sometimes they would just fix themselves all of a sudden. There is a ground connection on one of the mounting bolts, check that. Why a working motor doesn't work in a different car I can't say, but I did fix it on my old 87 by replacing the delay board which is the circuit board behind the plastic cover on the motor. It will cause a no shut off and all kinds of problems. It's available from GM for about $35 and I think a complete motor with the board is like $120 brand new.
