63,100 miles original brakes-no warning yet? Is that normal? 80% of my driving is highway that's probably part of the reason why

All service work has been at dealer and they allegedly do big check every time I have oil change

What kind of miles have others been getting out of brakes?

They feel okay but wondering if I should have changed anyway? Goodwrench rebate ends 8/31 will do fronts for $74.99 after rebate

Thanks

P.S. Recent 500 mile road trip got 26.8 MPG had air on. Went 70-75 most of the time with cruise on. I think that's pretty good.

I traded my 99 Sierra in with about 72K miles and the original brakes. Like you, I drive mainly highway miles.

I have almost 67,000 on my 2006.
Still the original brakes.
Part highway and part town driving.

The 2002 I sold after getting the 2006, had over 100,000 on it.
Still the original brakes.
My next door neighbor owns it now. :0

I now have over 70,000 on my 2006 Chevy Express work van.
Almost "ALL" town driving, but a good bit of "THAT" is freeway.
It is still all original.

I had a 1999 Camaro Z28. Replaced front/rear pads and front rotors at 50k miles. Sold car with 116k miles on the same brakes, still stopped great. I did buy GM rotors and the most expensive pads they sold at the parts store though.

The jury is still out on the Cadi. I havent had it long enough. My 2001 LeSabre has 115,000 miles on the original equipment. Bob
