not a fan of that color interior or the wing on a Deville, or the grille (i like the mesh better) but its a sharp DTS

The nicest one of these, that I ever saw, WAS the nicest, because other than the convertible conversion, all else on the car was Cadillac factory installed.

No pin stiping, anywhere
Cadillac's original equment optional chromed wheels
Cadillac's W.W. Tires, from the factory
The stock grille
Normal monotone paint (black)
No Gold medallions

and in so being, the thing actually LOOKED as though it was Cadillac Made.
After all, is that NOT THE IDEA?!!

Those aren't super rare, just hard to come by. There is someone in my town that has a white one. It is one of the few conversions that look great with the top both up and down.

I'm not feeling it. I think the B-pillar looks off. The idea of a 4-door Cadillac convertible is cool, but not on a DTS.

That basket handle b-pillar just kills it for me.

I've seen a newer DTS convertible, and with the more chiseled lines it looks freaking amazing. It also didn't have the b-pillar.

B-pillars are horrid, especially with the chrome stick ons. Add in the Vogues and the white top and it is undrivable as-is. I wouldnt be seen anywhere near it. WAYYYY too ghetto fabulous

Yeah, lose the roll-bars. It would make it a lot more appealing to me. Sadly, those are unavoidable...they have to be there to keep up the structural integrity. If it was designed from the onset to be a four door convertible, then they'd design around those, but you can't now.

It is possible to loose the B-pillars. The cowl would have to be reinforced, as would the floor pan. You'd also be best off reinforcing the forward trunk bulkhead and eliminating the trunk pass-through. Done correctly, that should provide enough torsional rigidity to compensate for the loss of a fixed roof and B-pillars. It would also be way more expensive that what was done to this car.
