All - I'm interested in using my PC to create DVDs of home movies made with a digital camcorder. I want a software package that will take several short video clips and make a compilation DVD. When I insert said DVD into a component player I envision a menu with video thumbnails of the available clips, perhaps with a caption or label of some sort. I have done some amateur video production using Adobe Premiere or other timeline-based video software packages but I consider that way beyond what I need (and frankly don't want). It would be nice to be able to crop unwanted footage from the beginning and end of the clip (the inevitable "is this thing on?" line from the beginning of every recording) but that is the only editing I need. Can anyone recommend a "no frills" DVD creation software app for the Windows platform?
