just thought it would be cool/different seeing as all the 'lades get slammed on 20+ rims, btw iam not bashing the slammed lade, love it. So anyone got some pics of one with like a 6inch lift kit, bash bars and big tires? :cowboy:

There's a guy around me that has a white EXT raised with wheels/tires on it. It looks good.

Cool thought, but why would anyone spend $50,000+ on an Escalade and lift it? If that's the case, they should just buy a Yukon & lift it. To each his own...I guess

well why would you spend 50+ just to drop it and spend another 6K on over sized rims? ;)

I saw that truck at TexasHeatWave this past weekend. It was a nice ride but the Escalade that was next to this one was nice and didn't have the fancy paintjob. It was all pearl white..

Hmm that listing says it's never been off road. Why you'd do the lift and not ever take it off road is beyond me.

That one on ebay has 6 remote reservoir shocks on the rear axle alone. Unless that truck is going baja racing, why the heck do they need remote reservoire shocks? And 6 of them? :bonkers: That won't do anything for performance other than make for an overly stiff ride. It's stupid to add expensive accesorries that are not good for anything in the way you apply them.

I saw one just liek the one above... But with bigger wheels, higher lift, blue flames, etc, etc... Many other accessories on the outside too... Oddly enoguh it was for sale at the dealer... It barely fit on their bigest outdor display ramp

i'm lifting my escalade, just as soon as i sell my old car to pay for it. i'm going with the Cognito Motorsports 10-12" lift with probably 37x13.50 mickey thompson baja claws on mickey thompson street locks. :lildevil:

My friend has a black 99 Denali lifted and I think it looks awesome. He bought it from a Game Warden and they left all the sirens & lights on it. He is having lots of fun with it.

honda4x4nut - nice truck man....that is what I'm talking bout! is that a CST kit? any other details or pics of the suspension components? Anything you can help out that you have learned from you own mistakes. maintenance issues? What gears of driveshaft are you running?

Funny that this post has come up!!! If you asked me my opinion on a lifted truck a few years ago.. I would have laughed in your face! especially a lac truck! However oddly enough. This look is starting to become one of the fastest growing trends in the aftermarket/show truck world right now!!! While a lowered NBS on 24/26's will always look clean and classy for the street....On the show scene it is starting to get played out like Altezza taillights, and Lambo doors.

I recently ditched my Mcgaughy's and 26's....

To stay with the current trends I also just ordered a Cognito 10-12" lift and remote resevoir shocks, along with some Toyo M/T 37's....now all I need is to link up with "customizer" and try to incorporate a custom air suspension, and I am ready to crush the whole game.

Do not get it twisted the redneck "lets go muddin" lift style is not what we are talking about..:tisk:

Illnily- The lift is a 12 inch 3rd Coast Suspension Lift. BNC Offroad did it, they are located in Pasadena,Tx.
Here is the link to thier site- www.bncoffroad.com I will tell you that the autoride will no longer function and will make some idiot lights on the dash come on. I currently have the engine light, ABS light, Trac light on and the Display reads- Service Brakes, Service Stability, and Service AutoRide I went to a buddies to clear the codes but it was only reading an "Unknown Code Error". I am told that they can all be cleared by the dealer but I refuse to return to my local dealer and I have just dealt with haveing the lights and warnings in the mean time. With this Lift a have a set od 22" MC2 Amedeus wheels with 37" Nitto Mud Grapplers. These tires are loud but Smooth, this thing rides as smooth as it did factory but handles the bumps better. The Paint work was done by Chaotic Customs in Tomball,Tx. it is all airbrushed, I won first place with this paint job at DRYOFF 05'. Any way Good Luck on lifting yours, I would love to see pics as soon as its done.

Thanks.

Well most everything involving the escalade seems overboard.

Its an overboard truck.

The GM "lean" is really evident when you lift it though.

At least with that white escalade.

hate to awaken this old thread - but I am currently looking for a 3" lift kit for a 2002 AWD Escalade. Plan is to get some good AT Tire/Rim package and do some Type III level off-roading trips with the wife and 4 kids - ( and Monday-Fri school runs..)

Would really love to get any type of knowlegde as i am pretty new to GM...

Since this is my first post I can't send him an email directly. Hopefully you can let me know what you did or Cadnathan can share how he achieved his look?

I know it's been a while, what did you end up doing with your old drop kit? Want to sell it?

My brother went the lifted route with his Avalanche. You can kinda see it inthe background:

He's got a 6" lift with 35s (or 37s) on 20 KMC Rockstars. It still rides great and looks great.

Here's another sick EXT. He went from bagged on 26s to super lifted on 49's

I just got an escalade with a 15" lift on 22's with 40 size tires .I noticed a lot of people replied to your thread but were hatin on the idea of a jacked up escalade but what they forgot is you can buy a used escalade (especially in today's market) for pretty cheap, if 25000 grand is cheap. Everybody loves it. people come up to me every time i take it out. i hear everyday "now that's an escalade!!!" I agree :)
heres a pic of it.
