I still say we need a shoutbox

I could probably throw up a shoutbox but I'm sure it would slow things down at least a little bit during busy times...

Yeah that's true. i didnt think about it. I would not do it site wide. I would just do it in specific forums. I don't know if that is possible or not with vbulletin. just me thinking out loud again :D

As far as I know, we could have one shoutbox - and that's all. One would slow down the forum. Imagine we had like ten? :p

What's a shout box?

It's a chat box at the top of the forum. I think it saves on some spam, since people who want to just chat can use the shout box rather than posting.
