Is a K&N HP-2010 compatible with our engines?
Looking at some Jeep and Dodge sites they a listing the AC Delco PF26 as the same as a K&N HP-2010. We have 22mm threads, right?

we have a bypass valve in our filters....they are expensive and I think Delco is the only one that makes it.

I'm with Florian -- Stick with the AC Delco PF-26; and for ANY GM vehicle I would stick with the OEM Delco filter; They have the anti-drainback valve as stated in all the newer filters to prevent oil pump starvation at startup; Durable sidewalls, and excellent flow -- No need to was $$$ on the K&N..

I run the K&N Gold in my Impala SS, mainly because of the nice wrench boss, and limited clearance, due to my headers. It has the anti-drain back valve.

On the V, I would stick with the AC-Delco part, plus I bought a case of them from someone on this forum, who had sold his!:cool2:

But, I'm pretty sure the K&N Gold is built to GM spec.
