exchanged a month ago but now the generator voltage regulator again
thing out, which may be a problem?
The generator is self-controlled and tested for the billboard!
machine in 87 Cadillac DeVille

I assume it's the alternator with the built-in regulator, like a 105 amp unit. The alternator may have another problem, like a bad diode trio, or a shorted diode in the rectifier bridge.
It's sometimes less expensive in the long run to replace the alternator. I did that on mine, because the price of a new bridge and a new brush set, etc were approaching the price of a rebuilt alternator.

My machine is a generator 120A.
and I bought voltageregulator, produced Wilson.
I think that the engineroom is too hot.I try a new look and long lasting
