Hey all
i just bought slotted rotors all around for my eldo and im going to do a full write up on the braking comparison so i was wondering how does car and driver road and track, etc test the stoping from 60-0? or 70-0?
so i can do a before and after you know :)

Pick a spot to stop on.. back up, drive to a set speed.. brake, measure the distance. repeat that a few times to get the average (add each run up, divide by total number of runs) and thats your answer. you'll have to remember though, once the brakes heat up .. you'll prolly want to let them cool, dont stop all that well when hot.
should i do 60-0 70-0 or what?

There isn't a real standard (like the 1/4 mile) so try a couple from 60 and a couple from 70. Some of the car magazines are starting to test brakes so maybe they'll settle on one or the other.

60 to 0 is the standard often used by car mags and Consumer Reports...
