Having some wierd problems. I got a 1995 seville sls with a 4.6 northstar. I got the car with a new battery and havent had this problem. The car sat for a while and the battery went dead. I put a charger on and had to set it to the highest setting to get started. While charging, the blower motor will come on and the dash will come on (digital guages). It takes about 20 minutes to get enough juice to start. Ill get it running and take the clamps of the battery from the charger, and the positive clamp gets pretty hot. Ill let it idle for a while and turn it off. Once off, the dash will still stay on and the blower motor will kick on. I can restart the car not long after it is shut off but i cant leave the battery connected through the night. I am thinking it is a bad battery. Need some help, thanks:banghead:

Check the ground from the alternator. Take the battery to an auto parts store that does free testing. Also, get them to test your alternator. Is your blower motor kicking on while charging even when you have the heater/ac set to off?
