I had mine replaced by the dealer... and i know that they used a programing tool to connect it together. I think they will also need Numbers from the back of it so i dont know if you copied them down for them or not. So they might have to take it back out for the numbers in the back...
GOOD LUCK

Did you get it for like 600$ ? if you dont mind me asking.
If everything works with the NAV, then after the programing you should have it. It would suck if you should spend the money and then not have it... for some odd reason, Iam pretty sure you will after they program it.
Mine was replaced by the dealer because i noticed the fan stay'd on and the laser arm kept moving inside the unit hence drawing a current at all times, so they opened it and hooked it up to their power source and sure enough it would not turn off.
When they were replacing it, the TECH had to take it back out after installing it, and i think its because he either didnt get the number from the back or did'nt connect the GPS.
GOOD LUCK TMW

Yes i did for $580 with shipping.. my fan stays on too but just for a little bit then eventually turns off.. but i hope it all works out i guess it just needs to have the uqa option activated in the radio.. for the Bose system.. well ill see what happens tomorrow.. was your car a 2006 with the bose system?

I have an 07 Performance Sedan, so yea it's with a Bose.
The fan stays on for about ten minutes after the engine is off and starts back up when you open the door, on mine both the fan and the laser arm stayed on constantly, dealer replaced it free of charge.

jessedigi does your DTS have the UQA option? I've been looking to install one of those setups in mine. Did you get just the radio/nav unit, or did you have to get a separate antenna, vss wire, etc...?

Let us know if the programming fixes the audio.

BTW is it the audio for nav only that doesn't work or the whole radio system?

Thanks,
Joe

Audio for everything.. no audio for the radio.. cd.. or xm although you can change stations and see cd info but if the programing fixes ill post all the details later because its pretty involved to do it right but i need to really go over it well before i give out the info just to make sure its correct.
