So I have the warped rotor feeling, and it causes the ABS to kick in (deduced this from unplugging the EBTCM) with some kind of weird rub/catch feedback on the pedal.

I can get the OEM rotors for $115 shipped from gmpartsdirect.

I've always liked drilled rotors, not so much drilled/slotted.

So I found 3 choices at the same pricepoing and am wondering your opinions.

http://myworld.ebay.ca/silverstonemr*/ gold cadmium plated over 4000 transactions
http://stores.shop.ebay.com/cquencebrakes__W0QQ_armrsZ1 zinc plated, 200 some transactions, you choose pattern.
http://stores.shop.ebay.ca/Ace-Performance-Parts__W0QQ_armrsZ1 1000 transactions, also in canada but possibly $30 more because Im in Texas

I'm keeping my OEMs and resurfacing them if the above goes bad. I'd consider AC Delco drilled/slotted and Powerstop Gold Cadmiums, but they're $100 more.

Thanks for your opinions/comments/experiences.

BRAKE PADS...

Im thinking of going with OEM here.

Thanks for your opinions/comments/experiences.
In my experience, you could be describing uneven distribution of brake pad material on the rotor surface. Easy enough to fix without any tools or parts.

And worth doing before dropping dollars on parts that might not be necessary.

My opinion, Drilled/ slotted rotors are for the racetrack. On the street you set yourself up for brake noise on gentle application and they can warp as well as any other rotor.

I replaced the rotors and pads, to get rid of the occasional "galloping" feedback on the brake pedal. I went with ceramic pads (Bendix), and I got an amazing deal on rotors #1. I bedded the brakes properly (few hard-core slowdowns from 40-10) and it feels like there is slightly more bite to them. To my dismay, the high speed gallop feeling is still there.

It is definitely something electronic, as when I unplug the EBTCM the galloping is gone. So it's not warped rotors. What's the deal?

If you got an amazing deal, then the rotors were drilled, not cast as when you see serious performance manufacturers, like Porsche, use them. Being drilled, you can see catastrophic failure with hard use. So be careful...
