Alright, so I've got a 1992 Seville that wont blow any air out of the vents. when i first started investigating this problem i found the two wires that plug into the motor cut, so i spliced them back together. tried the ac, nothing. changed the fuse, nothing. checked the voltage at the wires, 11.4v good, or so i thought. i took the old motor out, put a new one in, nothing, hooked the old one up the battery, she worked like a charm. checked the voltage again and even with ignition switch off these wires are getting power, but wont hold a load. I'm not the best electrician by far, but i think its an open circuit???? the only ground that i can see is from the fuse box to the chassis and everything else on that fuse box works fine. Please, give me some help on whats causing this, and how to fix it, its too damn hot and humid to not have a/c.
