The mats are certainly very high quality, but I am somewhat disappointed with the design of the driver's mat anchor. Although it keeps the mat from sliding forward, it doesn't keep it in place laterally and it's always sliding over to the right. I haven't had a chance to look into it, but I suspect it shouldn't be too hard for me to modify this to keep it from sliding around. And the passenger mat doesn't have any sort of anchor whatsoever and is always moving out of position.

My charcoal mats with the V logo look spectacular though. The trunk mat is equally nice.

I'd say they're a very close match. Perfect? No. How much it bothers you is a matter of personal preference.

Tony,

I am going to forward your post to the manufacturer to find out why your mat is moving. This should not happen. I will be back to you within 24 hours with an answer. As far as the color, it is up to your personal preference. What I suggest is that before you place your order - take your current mat out in the sunlight and see if it is on the grey side which is the ebony or if it looks more on the black side to you... go with the GM Black 100.

We have just gotten in small mat chips that we can send out at your request. Just contact us at info@autoprideconcepts.com with your request for the color needed and we will send the chips. Please include all make & model info as well as your mailing address. You can call us at 800-327-8847 ext.218. Custom mats are an investment and we want you to be happy.

Please guys, if at any time you have a problem with mats purchased from www.autoprideconcepts.com - call us and we will get solutions for you.

Thanks,
Lloyd

I have the exact same problem with mine. AutoPride put me in contact with the manufacturer who promptly offered to modify my mats free of charge, to add additional grommets and provide anchors to screw into the carpeting. Everyone involved was helpful and courteous.

I've not yet taken them up on their offer.

As for color match, here's my driver's side mat - also showing how it wads up on the right edge:

Guys:

I installed the Luxe mats (that include a lifetime warranty) in my new V about a week ago. The mats are extremely plush. And so far I have not had an issue with the driver’s side mat moving.

As I had assumed to be the case, Lloyd confirmed that the “ebony” mat color would provide the closest match to my V’s ebony interior. But I liked the idea of creating some “contrast” by going with the “piano-black” mat color, given that some other parts of the V’s interior (e.g., the console trim) are also piano black. Lloyd noted several other customers had tried this contrasting color scheme and really liked the effect. And I am very happy that I decided to go with the piano-black mat color, especially given that the V’s ebony interior can be a bit on the “monotone” side.

The V logo on the front mats is identical to the picture shown on the AutoPride post on this thread. However, I thought the logo would ride “on top” of the mats, as the various pictures of mats with logos on the AutoPride web site seem to suggest. Lloyd did note that the Luxe mats are so thick that the company has to cut a bit of the carpet around the V logo so that it is not “buried” in the carpet. What I did not realize is that the logo does not appear to be attached to the carpet, but rather seems to be attached to the “base” underlying the carpet itself. At first I was not sure if I liked this appearance, but I have to say that it is growing on me.

Lloyd was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of deciding on which mat designs and options I might want to select. And the mats arrived exactly in the timeframe he said they would. Excellent service!

Kyle
