Anyone not getting thier tunes within a few days needs to be resent to a different email address. Im getting ALOT of people saying im not sending tunes when in fact i am. Usually within a few days. IF YOU HAVENT RECIEVED YOUR UPDATES, i need a different email address that does not have an attachment limit. They are getting blocked from your ip account, or email program due to size.

Wow, you are not kidding!

Just doing some testing on Gmail. It has a 25MB limit for sending and receiving attachments

You might need to zip them up. I'm doing some testing here between my office email and gmail, and big attachments are just not showing up.

These files should be easily compressible, should a snap for winzip to compress them by 90%

Not many people will have that kind of email attachment limit, you should look into a service like box.net or Dropbox explained here: http://news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-10160314-2.html. Will fix your attachment limit problem easily.

Funny when you sent me my update it was only 4mb.

When I uploaded the stock tune files from hand held, it created 2 files stock.lbu and flash.lbu both 4Mb each.

4 mb was for only the partial flash of one tune. Not the 3 that i send of full os and transmission files. To replace the 3 tunes in your handheld and the stock backup containing the factory updates released from gm for missfire detection and other stuff as per Tis website.

I checked yahoo and they won't accept attachments over 20Mb.

The 2 stock and flash files 8mb total compress down to less than 5mb using winzip.

So when you're sending out tunes over email, zip up the attachments so the're less than say 15mb, so email systems don't start rejecting them. Split it up in multiple emails if necessary.
It's the size of a single attachment that is choking the email.

Hans.
