I have a 1984 CoupeDeVille with 56k miles and a 4.1 motor and up till yesterday it ran fine. I was driving home from work which is a 10 minute drive and pulled into my garage put the car in park and the engine died I fired it back up and it was idling rough, put it in gear and it died out again, I did this three times and it finally stayed on but the engine was sputtering trying to cut off so I pressed on the gas to keep it on but it still sputtered. So today I go to start it and its idling rough I put it in gear and again it dies out.Any ideas as to what may be causing this. Any help would be appreciated

It might have something to do with the idle speed control motor. There is a lot of info on them in this forum, do a search of old posts. Good luck getting it running right, sounds like a sweet ride.

13- O2 sensor not ready
32-Open Map sensoer circuit

Your O2 sensor might be bad. The one in my car went years ago, the car behaved like you describes your's behaving, but mine was billowing black smoke from the exhaust too.

There is no code 58, maybe you made a typo. Anyway I hope these codes help you narrow it down.
